It aims to elevate students’ creativity, developing their digital and visual literacies by providing them with an appropriate blend of non-technological and online resources, extending their learning beyond the boundaries of school.
Our Approach

Our Department Programmes
Coding and Programming @ MCS
To prepare our students for the Digital Century, we expose students to Coding and Programming which aim to promote their computational thinking and develop their problem-solving skills.
MCS has a progressive 6-years coding programmes conducted by own teachers and external vendors. MCS partnered Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to bring programmes such as the Code For Fun (CFF) and Digital Maker for our students. These programmes anchor on the academic learning of related concepts using visual-based programming language, such as Scratch, and combining it with robotic kits, such as MoWay, mBots and microcontrollers such as Micro:bit to create a coding experience for the students.
Cyber Wellness @ MCS
Cyber Wellness @ MCS aims to help students to become responsible digital learners. When navigating cyberspace, students should demonstrate respect for self and others and practice safe and responsible use. Students should also be a positive peer influence by harnessing technology for collaboration, learning and productivity, as well as advocating positive use of technology for the good of the community.
MCS has Cyber Wellness Assembly Programmes and Recess Activitities run by Cyber Wellness Student Leaders.
