Aesthetics: Music
Our Philosophy
The MCS music education aims to enable every student to have creative expression, allowing them to communicate through music and able to appreciate local and global music. The music curriculum also provides the basis to develop an informed and life-long involvement in music for our students.

Our Approach

Level Performance
Selected levels showcase their instrumental pieces during school events.

MCS’ Got Talent
Similar to the concept of America’s Got Talent, MCS’ Got Talent is our in-house competition for students to showcase their talents in singing, dance or playing a musical instrument. Interested students go through the audition process with a solo or ensemble performance. Students who are successful in the audition, will get to showcase their performance during Teachers’ Day celebration and/or other events.

MCS Recess Performance
Our students brought vibrant energy and talent to the school during the Recess Performance Showcase, where they performed for their peers in a lively and supportive atmosphere. From melodic renditions on musical instruments to heartfelt vocal performances, each act reflected the students’ dedication and passion for the performing arts. The initiative provided a platform for students to share their gifts beyond the classroom, and it was heartening to see how warmly their peers received them—cheering, clapping, and showing enthusiastic support throughout. The performances not only brightened up the recess break but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and school spirit among the student body.
